I have to make a mini project in C language...?

Im doing engg.i have to make a mini project in C language...im in #rd sem....doing comp engg.so pls help me out with some ideas....


Im thinking to make a progam on calender generation...will it b toooo small????i have to submit the project at the end of 4th sem....

You have around 6 months with you so you can try something like :





1. Sudoku puzzle generator or Sudoku solver.


2. Very Simple text editor with very simple UI like VI editor from Linux.


3. Some Tutor application which will provide information related to some topic, say Data Structures.


4. Mathematical formulas solver [that's can be as small or as big as you want. :) ]


5. Jig Saw puzzle game [you can do it in any text or graphics mode.]





etc. etc. etc...... :)


Actually there can be many of them but I can not mention them as I don't know how much C you have covered till now.


but these are quite good small and challenging to start with.

Reply:Do some good application like a game or a simulation of MS Paint.You can use OpenGL for it.It will be fun to work on and you will learn a lot.Also a good graphics proj might help you get extra points ;)
